Title: Starting the Riot
Series: Riot MC #0.5
Author: Karen Renee
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: April 28, 2020
Jackie Eastmon’s life changes after a brutal attack on her best friend. While getting Simone the help she needs, Jackie meets a rough, burly biker.

Henry “Volt” Adler, President of the Riot MC Jacksonville chapter, admires Jackie’s rarely found spunk and dedication to Simone. The timing is all wrong for him to pursue Jackie. He runs into her nearly two years later, and he will stop at nothing to make her his.

Jackie struggles with this bossy, alpha-male in her life. When she learns he knows who attacked Simone but hasn’t made them pay, she questions if he’s the man for her.

Upon the two-year anniversary of the attack, Simone attempts suicide, and Volt hates seeing Jacqueline hurting for her friend. He orders his brothers to make the attackers pay for what they did to Simone.
His lips quirked. “I want to stay, but I really gotta go. Though, not until you kiss me goodbye.”
He was insatiable.
Before we even got out the door of the clubhouse, he backed me up against a wall and we had a make out session in the middle of the common room. There were three other bikers present, but had they not been there, I think Volt would’ve commenced wall-sex with me. As it was, he worked me up with his hand outside my jeans and only when I was squirming against him did he stop and drag me out to his bike. Then at Panera, he insisted we sit outside at a secluded table and he made out with me in between bites of bagel and sips of coffee.
With a sideways grin, I asked, “I haven’t kissed you enough this morning?”
“Are you lookin’ for a spanking?”
He pulled me close and planted his lips on mine. I slanted my head, and he took the invitation to deepen the kiss. My hands slid around the back of his neck. His arms tightened forcing my breasts tight to his chest.
“Oh, my,” I heard Andrea say in a low voice.
Volt tried to pull away from me, but I chased after his lips with mine. I could sense he wanted to cut this short, but I became more aggressive and he growled into my mouth. For a moment I debated dragging him to my room, but he wrenched free of my lips and my hold.
“Jacqueline. You’re going to pay for that.”
“You asked for it,” I chided in a husky voice.
His hands, still on my ass, squeezed. “Call you later, baby.”
I closed the door behind him, locked it, and turned to find Andrea at the table chewing her omelet.

She swallowed and pointed her fork at me. “I might have to get a job at Carmine’s so I can find a man to kiss me like that.”
Karen Renee is the author of the Riot MC Series. She has wanted to be a writer from a very early age, and she’s finally bringing that dream to life. Title: Dirty Ball
Series: Jungle Beauty Goddesses
Author: CG Sturges
Genre: Romance, Fantasy Fiction, Mythology Erotica
Release Date: November 9, 2019
The Jungle Beauty Goddesses: Dirty Ball- Book 3 is a story about love… the familial love and loyalty of family and the unbreakable bond between the seven sisters… and the power of love and how it plunges, crashes, and melds beings of different realms and realties. The Jungle Beauty Goddesses Series has been coined “Nubian Mythology a Modern Creation Story.” All life is created by sexual energy—this story is not meant to be erotic—it merely captures the sensuality of the universal powers and enthralling forces that make us human, frail, mortal, and vulnerable.

Imagine an adult tale that blends goddesses and mermaids with a creation story that embraces the feel of a Greek myth, but with a distinctly Nubian flavor…one that posits female Goddesses in a philosophical and spiritual reflection of humanity’s evolution and influences.

“Author C. G. Sturges has created a wide-reaching novel series with many different themes, ideas and implications going on within it, and I’d love to see it more expanded to fully reach them all.” – K.C. Finn for Readers’ Favorite

“It is always a privilege and an honor to witness the evolution of a series, particularly when that includes seeing the writing within the books strengthen with the story.” – Jamie Michele for Readers’ Favorite

“Fantasy romance with some spice in it.” – Amazon Review

Title: FarmBoy: An Opposites Attract Romance
Author: Kayt Miller
Genre: NA Romance
Release Date: April 18, 2020

Justlovemybooks.com blog – “This is an author whose name I have come across many times but haven’t read. I’m so glad I read her. I will be looking back at her catalog for more.”

World of Books 65 – “This is my first book by Kayt Miller but it won’t be my last. There was just something about Farmboy that grip me from the start.”

E&A Book – “This is the first book I have read by this author and I was blown away. A slow burn romance that gives you all the feels, with characters that you can’t help but love. I enjoyed it from beginning to end.”

Isabelle “Izzy” Harmon is home again. Literally. After landing her first teaching gig, Izzy has found herself sleeping in her old room on an ancient twin bed that squeaks whenever she moves. Sure, she loves Honeywell, Iowa but part of her wanted to move to civilization rather than return to her old life after graduating from college. Farm life is in her blood but so is the man who lives next door. It’s too bad he never saw her as more than his best friend’s little sister.

It’s true what they say… distance makes the heart grow fonder and four years away did nothing to quell the way Izzy’s heart rate doubles whenever he’s nearby. She hoped to get over it, but things don’t always work out the way we hope.

Nashville “Nash” Watson never left. His goal of playing baseball in the majors flew out the window the second he found out he was going to be a father. No regrets, though, because Nash figured he’d return to Honeywell, Iowa to farm his family’s land. It was the only thing he knew for sure. Well, that and he’s never falling for another woman again. Ever.

Never say never, Nash.

Due to sexual content and adult themes, this book is suitable for readers 18+.

I grew up in the midwest with a loving family including three brothers, one sister, and my parents who always fostered my creative side. I earned my bachelor’s degree at Iowa State University, then I was off to the Savannah College of Art and Design for graduate school. After that, I returned to Iowa for work which led me, once again, to ISU for my master’s degree in education.
I love to read and one day I was searching for a book. A book about a certain type of woman and a specific kind of man and I couldn’t find it so, I wrote it. I called it Game Changer and it couldn’t have been a more appropriate title. It changed my life in many ways. While my real job is teaching young people, my fun job is conjuring up characters and situations to write about.

My goal, as a writer, is to write stories that relate to all of us, to make readers laugh and maybe cry sometimes. I hope my readers can escape into a fantasy, one that’s actually possible. Sure, some of the stories could be dubbed “Insta-love” stories but that’s okay. I fell in love with my husband pretty damn fast and with my daughter the second I saw her. So, it’s a thing, I swear.

Titles: Astraeus & Retaliation
Series: The Oceanstone Initiative
Author: Haley Cavanagh
Genre: YA/Sci-Fi Romance
Release Date: 10.12.18 & 12.27.19
Publisher: Covey Publishing, LLC
One pre-apocalyptic Earth. One desperate space mission to find a solution. One unexpected alien.
When Dr. Sakota Thorell signed onto the mission to scout out a new, habitable planet, she knew discovering extraterrestrial life was always a possibility. But she never expected to find an alien adrift in space, nor for that alien to be so intriguing. Sakota feels an instant and undeniable attraction to Astraeus, but he represents a million possibilities, and just as many threats.
There are others hunting Astraeus, and his rescue may cost Earth its last hope.

One doctor, one alien lover, one botanist, and one engineer on a desperate mission to save earth from human destruction.
Sakota saved Astraeus and her friends from certain death, but in doing so, she gained the attention of the Oreck, who will stop at nothing to destroy everything in their path.
With their ship severely damaged, Sakota and her crew land on a nearby planet and seek sanctuary while they make repairs to return home. But nothing on this perfect planet is as it appears, and Sakota soon learns they’ve traded one danger for another.
Hunted and targeted, will Sakota be able to carry out her mission, or will everyone she cares about be destroyed?

Sakota took a deep breath. “Okay. Let’s do it. We’re not going to survive if we don’t.” Hisoka and Tatiana turned around to man their consoles. She ate the last of her ration piece and slipped her hand into Astraeus’s. The escape pod reached the mouth of the black hole, then without warning, surged forward.

When Sakota was a child, long before Alistair rescued her from the orphanage in the squalid wasteland of London, the other children liked to play a game called Lights Out. In the main room where she bunked with fifteen other girls, a shaft of light streamed in from the hallway, in the same spot every night, like clockwork. The adult on night duty would check in once an hour and perform a headcount as they slept.

A few nights a week, a handful of the girls awakened and killed the hallway lights so they could scare and torture whomever they didn’t like among them. It was a powerful systematic lesson, however cruel. Sakota grew up knowing her place at the bottom rung of life. She’d never fit into the cookie-cutter type molding the upper-class girls had been bred for. She’d proved early on that she’d fight back with a vengeance when provoked, but she wasn’t certain which was worse; being preyed upon or listening to other girls’ pleas for help as she lay in the pitch-black room. The memory had stayed with her well into adulthood, as well as the countless times she could and should have stepped in to help instead of being crippled by primal fear and self-preservation. Children could be cruel. But the fear she’d experienced then was nothing, nothing, compared to being sucked into a black hole.

The escape pod whirled inside the conduit and pitched them around in a circle. They spun, at the mercy of inexhaustible energy along the black hole’s trajectory. Though she’d experienced raw fear when the Oreck had taken over the Sleipnir science vessel and killed everyone, this was different. Before, she at least had an idea what she was up against. Three razor-sharp talons emerging from claws didn’t lie. Being sucked into the black hole was like being an ant in a cyclone.

Astraeus squeezed her palm reassuringly. She turned and looked at him. They were both strapped in, tight.

Astraeus squeezed her hand. “Don’t be afraid.”

The speed of the escape pod amplified. Ribbons of light streamed past the windows like gossamer silk as the ship darted into unknown darkness. Sakota gritted her teeth. Oh, screw not acting afraid. She was terrified.

Title: Image Adjuster
Author: Lily Alexander
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 11, 2020

In Hollywood, image is everything.

Being part of a power couple can mean the difference between your star rising or being iced out of roles. No one ever said the relationship had to be real.

Stephanie, an actress and the daughter of Hollywood royalty has made a thriving business out of posing as a girlfriend to celebrities who need a bit of a PR boost. Everything is scripted and when the contract ends everyone goes their separate way.

No feelings, no risk, just acting.

Devon is just another client – no matter how handsome he might be, how compatible they seem. The arrangement works perfectly. It’s all business. Definitely just business.

Unless it’s not.

“How long are you here?” Stephanie asked, watching Devon watch their waitress.
The fact that it mirrored their first fake date amused her. To be fair, both waitresses were very cute and both had great asses.
She was woman enough to admit that – attractive is attractive no matter who you are.
“Just today.” His eyes were still on Shannon’s tiny but firm backside.
“That’s not a vacation, Devon. That’s a day off.”
He shrugged, that eternal playful grin on his lips as he finally brought his eyes to hers.
“I’m apparently no good at vacation, either.”
Shannon dropped off Stephanie’s regular order – a Blue Moon with a slice of orange on the rim of the glass. Devon’s Guinness looked positively black in contrast.
Devon’s tone went a bit serious.
“So. Where have you been, Steph? I haven’t seen you around town.”
Stephanie debated how open she wanted to be.
“I haven’t been in the city much,” she replied, taking a deep drink of her beer, eyes watching people on the street for a moment before returning to Devon’s face, which was entirely too genuinely interested in what she was saying. “Lying low. Doing vacation properly.”
He laughed and nodded. “Fair enough.”
There was a companionable silence as they both did a little people watching.
“This is nice,” Devon said earnestly, relaxing into the patio chair. “No cameras, no pressure, no need to put on the game face. I see why you excel at doing vacation right.”
Stephanie nodded, toying with some condensation on her glass with a fingertip. She offhandedly noticed a smear of canary paint near her cuticle.
“Going back to the city seemed like a very wrong choice after doing this for a while.”
After finishing their first beers, they ordered dinner and had another round of drinks.
“I’m sorry.” Devon said, all of a sudden and with a very serious expression on his face.
“What for?” Stephanie asked, eyebrows drawn together in confusion.
“Not calling. Texting. Saying hello or really anything after that day.” He shook his head and pushed some shepherd’s pie around in the dish. “That wasn’t right. We were… friends. Or something like it.”
Stephanie smiled and nodded. “Yes, we were. I’m glad you felt like we were too. It’s okay. And really, you didn’t have a choice. If our phone records had been pulled, or if you had been spotted texting me, there would have been media speculation about why. I didn’t reach out either, for all the same reasons.” Stephanie’s brow creased. “You were paying me to act like I was your girlfriend. We completed the contract. I got paid, you moved on with your life. That’s how it’s supposed to go, honestly.”
They sat there for a moment, regarding one another. Stephanie felt as though his sharp blue stare was peering into her darkest thoughts.
Finally, he broke the stare and gave a short, unenthusiastic nod.
“I guess.” He pushed his plate aside and smiled. “Well, at least we got to have today, right?”

Stephanie agreed. “Absolutely.”
